Padenghe sul Garda is a small town located on the moraine hills that lie in the southwestern part of Lake Garda. The municipality is bordered to the east by Lonato Lido and Moniga del Garda, while to the west is Calvagese, home to a world-renowned golf club. The town has more than 5,000 residents, but in the summer season it can reach as many as 10,000.
Precisely for this reason, major public and private services can be found in the municipality of Padenghe and surrounding towns. In addition, from the castle, an ancient stronghold dating back to the 12th century that stands at the highest part of the municipality, visitors can enjoy a splendid view of the lake and its surroundings. By car, driving along the Valtenesi provincial road. For those traveling on the A4 Turin/Venice highway, the recommended exit is Desenzano, then they should continue on SP 236 following the road signs in the direction of Salò.
