Padenghe sul Garda is a small town located on the moraine hills that lie in the southwestern part of Lake Garda. The municipality is bordered to the east by Lonato Lido and Moniga del Garda, while to the west is Calvagese, home to a world-renowned golf club. The town has more than 5,000 residents, but in the summer season it can reach as many as 10,000.
